Cookie policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small browser files. localStorage is a separate browser storage mechanism. This policy covers both and requests to external resources.

Storage used by this code

siteLang stores the selected language in localStorage without automatic expiry, until cleared. boiRatesCache stores exchange rates, update date and save time. Each successful valid Bank of Israel response updates the cache. If rates are unavailable, the site uses the last rates saved in this browser without an age limit, until a successful update or deletion of site data. The current code does not save enquiry form details in localStorage.

External resources

Google Fonts, unpkg and Esri or CARTO maps receive requests that expose connection data such as IP addresses. Following links or submitting through external services, including WhatsApp and FormSubmit, is also subject to their policies. This is not a provider cookie scan and does not guarantee that providers use no additional technologies.

Analytics and advertising

The current code does not configure Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable advertising tools. If non-essential measurement or tracking tools are added, this policy must be updated and prior consent controls enabled where required by law.

Your controls

You can clear cookies and site data in browser privacy settings. Clearing only cookies may not clear localStorage; select site data too. Clearing may reset language preferences and the exchange-rate cache. Blocking external resources may affect maps or enquiry submission. Questions: abtourisrael@gmail.com. See the privacy policy for enquiry processing.
